Discover one of the most visited museums in the world!

Mozarts birthplace

The house, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on the 27. January in 1756, is today one of the most visited museums in the world.

Nowhere else you can get so close to the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

On three floors, the visitors discover in the newly designed permanent exhibition details about his life circumstances: How he grew up, when he began to make music, who his friends and patrons were, his relationship with his family, his passion for opera, and much more.

Wolfgang Amadeus lived eight years in this house, before he moved to Vienna in 1781. His father Leopold died here in 1787.
